Artist Talks - Threads of Past and Future
 Vila 31 – Tirana
This event offers two unique perspectives on the relationship between memory and innovation. Curator Kim Knoppers discusses the concept of transhistorical curation and the importance of embroidery and textiles as tools for preserving memories, fostering resilience, and promoting healing. At the same time, Dutch-Albanian industrial designer Felice Emanuels demonstrates how traditional Albanian embroidery motifs are transformed into contemporary textiles through modern Dutch industrial design techniques.
